If you’ve been seeking unique inspiration for your big wedding day, then look no further! Nestled in the depths of the Caribbean rainforest, this wedding exudes magic, historical artistry, and class. Eilene and Michael said their I do’s with Belize’s ancient Mayan Ruins towering above them, and free-flowing greenery sweeping beneath their feet. You’ll adore the vintage, chic aesthetic brimming with rich colour palettes and wooden elements. Check out all of these dazzling details, beautifully captured by our talented photographer from Frozen Instant Photography.
Eilene was an absolute show-stopper in her mermaid-lace gown, enchanted berry-crested headpiece and airy veil. Michael complimented her beautifully in a midnight blue tux. The bridesmaids were dressed in royal blue, providing a perfect accent to the bold colour palettes found in the floral arrangements and reception decor. We were in love with the clean, crisp aesthetic that gave room for the complementary earth tones from the landscape surrounding.
As the sun flooded the mountains, Eilene and Michael exchanged teary I-do’s. The ethereal energy emitting from the ancient ruins is something you truly have to experience for yourself. After a magical ceremony, the wedding party hopped on a slow ferry across the river that seemed to be painted with wavering shades of emerald and juniper green. The guests enjoyed a mouth-watering local dinner on a luxurious patio with a 360-degree view of the rolling rainforest dreamscape. The tables and walls were adorned with feathery palm leaves, providing an organic, rustic twist to a fine-dining experience. The evening continued into the night, brimming with champagne, music, and bottomless love. It was an unforgettable day. Congratulations to the shining newlyweds!
